To set a marker precisely using the context menu we typically need to zoom in (sometimes a lot). But as soon as the route is calculated we set the map bounds to the bounding box of the calculated route, which can be quite annoying, because typically this means we are zooming out again. So maybe just do not change the map position in this case (same as when we drag a marker)?
Maybe this also got more distracting, because we seem to zoom out more than we used to in the old maps client?
