VS Code Plugin for Declarative Gradle

While the Declarative Gradle EAP starts with Android Studio, we would like to have other IDEs to support Declarative Gradle soon, as plugins. Such plugins would have functionality similar to what is described #52, and ideally implemented in collaboration with early Declarative Gradle adopters

For Visual Studio Code, there are a few items to include so that the support is as flexible as possible:

• Support for Declarative Gradle via the Language Server protocol
• Support for Declarative Gradle in Gradle Build Server. Note there is a pending GSoC project for Android Support: https://github.com/gradle/community/blob/main/docs/events/gsoc/2024/gradle-build-server-android.md
• VS Code plugin, similar to Android Studio: Early-Access IDE Support #52, that leverages integrations above
