I just upgraded from v3 to v4. It started uploading photos that I uploaded before.
Describe the solution you'd like
I think the program should abort if any v3 config files are found, e.g. if uploads.db or resumable_uploads.db is found. Exit and show the link to the upgrade instructions.
Additional context
Since you just need to rename the directories, maybe gphotos-uploader-cli could even say I noticed you're upgrading from v3, should I rename these folders for you...?
