Is this project still active?
Can we get an update on the project's status?

Unfortunately seems so.

I hope somebody could port/update it to qt6. It really consumes a lot less resources than webplayers.

Just haven't much time to do anything with it lately, I will probably port it to qt6 eventually.

Update: I replaced libwidevinecdm.so installed by widevine-18.10.sh with the one installed in /opt/google/chrome/WidevineCdm/_platform_specific/linux_x64/ and now it seems to work.

P.s: Can this be installed on a very lowpowered vps (4vcpu and 2GB)?

Thanks.

@puppinoo I guess only one way to find out!
Also If someone would make a PR to update the widevine scripts for Ubuntu that would be appreciated.
