Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

It's not quite related to a problem other than that it seems like I can't really do anything with temporary tables using the TableRef/Table APIs.

Describe alternatives you've considered

I've tried to avoid the object API and use raw SQL, but that doesn't seem to work in some cases (creating temporary tables).
