I received a report that one of the integration tests fail in an internal environment. I think the test is consistently failing.

Increase the test timeout to prevent flaky failures. Also removes all
warnings regarding the deprecated ExpectedException class.

Fixes #158

Increase the test timeout to prevent flaky failures. Also removes all
