Well it looks dead to me although the underlying code for public key lookup is being actively worked on.

It seems Mailvelope provides a similar service (PGP encryption in a webmail).

This project was hardly ever more than a quick PR job following the Snowden revelations. It was quickly "opened to the community" after it was abandoned at Google: end-to-end encryption of emails in Gmail is incompatible with the way Gmail operates, from mining emails for user tracking and ad placement to detecting spam.
