how to use icon options in panel title ?

First of all thank you very much for this incredible plugin!
I use it extensively! It's great and versatile !

I'm really an amateur in coding, so please apologize my question / request...

Is there a way to control the icon's options within a panel ?

I would like to have a bigger and colored icon in the title of a panel...
but I don't find / understand the way to do so...

it's of course easy when using it the normal way :

{{mdi>alpha-a?48&color=blue}}

but how to do so in a panel ?

<panel title ="foo" icon="mdi mdi-alpha-a">

<panel title ="foo" icon="mdi mdi-alpha-a**?48**"> not working...

sorry if this question is stupid :(

If it's not feasible, may be some interesting option to develop?
