Server Status Code 500 vs. 400

As mentioned here, I think Gisgraphy should return status code 400 for invalid arguments provided by the user. 500 indicates an issue with the server.

In this case I would have expected the server to return a 400 error code "Bad Request" and not a 500 "Internal Server Error".
