Hello everyone,

I'm having issues while trying to install psutil in a Amazon EC2 Instance with Red Hat 7.3.1-5.
First, i've installed python with 'sudo yum install python3'. Also installed the Python Header Files with 'sudo yum install python3-devel'.
Created an alias (alias python=python3) to run the latest python version, instead of the system-used Python 2.7.14.

When I try to install psutil with 'pip install psutil' i get the folowing error:

Could someone point me to the correct direction? I've already tryed everything in this tread #1143 but nothing seems to work.

Thanks in advance

That's a permission problem. You either need to install psutil globally (at system level) by using sudo / root or use pip install --user psutil or use a virtual env. Closing.
