I get this error occasionally, so far it has gone away when I remove the new-cabal build cache info in .ghc.environment.x86_64-linux-8.6.5. I have not tried to create a small test case.

ghcjs: internal error: evacuate: strange closure type -532297912
    (GHC version 8.6.4 for x86_64_unknown_linux)
