As with #354, I've hit also issues with several themes failing with pelican 4 (at least on the RSS generation because of the slug change).
Themes should be listed as compatible with X versions and probably consider 'phasing' them out in the pelican-themes website to at least
Without this, attempts to find a new theme take a while to start checking what is provided, if it works, if it doesn't and what needs to be fixed, etc
Is there any plan in place to implement something similar to help pelican users?
