No Communication After Firmware Update Until Mini Split Power Cycle #118

Things seem to be working fine until I do an OTA update.

At that point there is no communication between the ESP8266 and my mini split. Once I flip the breaker on my mini split then it will start to communicate again.

Is this normal? Is this due to me skipping the pull up resistors?

That doesn't sound normal. My MSZ-GLxxNA indoor units and generic Wemos D1 Mini clones start communicating within a few seconds after an OTA update. I'm not using a pullup resistor on my CN105 connections.

What indoor units do you have? Do your ESP devices seem to be working on their own after the OTA? IE, are they sending their own log entries and communicating with the HA API?
