Do exported HTML maps expire? #1780
-
I have exported a few interactive maps as HTML. On those maps, I had several layers of my own shape and raster files. After exporting them they work fine. But I have noted that after a few days, the layers show nothing. Their layers and their names are still present and selectable in the control box, but when you activate them nothing happens. Anyone with the same issue? So, do the exported HTML files have a kind of expiration period?? Or maybe they are only valid while the EE session is valid? |

Yes, Earth Engine layers are temporary. They expire within 24-48 hours. You can rerun the code to generate a new HTML every day. Alternative, you can develop an interactive web for visualizing Earth Engine data. See https://huggingface.co/spaces/giswqs/solara-geemap |
