Almost every link present on http://gaelyk.appspot.com/ is broken #221
Comments
Re. Broken links, I see that both tutorial and framework download seem OK. That should be enough for an evaluation. But you are seeing the GROOVY links as broken, as the underlying language had a big change of sponsorship and gained a new home. You would have to search for the underlying technologies the framework utilizes, but that is not necessary to create a working web app using Gaelyk with tutorial as guidance. Hope this helps. |
I see what you see, the examples links are mostly gone. I created simple websites but complex private appengine solutions, the latter type you won't see. Can't speak for current popularity, I am doing other projects now. |
I can see what you mean. Gaelyk is still used for some heavily loaded websites such as http://www.pixoto.com but sadly I don't have enough time to maintain the project. The framework itself is currently stable but as it depends on Google App Engine Java this may easily change in the future as the App Engine team is deprecating some API time to time. If Google App Engine is not necessary for your project you may try @caelyf |
Thanks @musketyr for the link. |
Sad that so many links are broken. Should we just remove the section from the gaelyk website? or ask community for newer sites. |
I would say start removing and then decide if there would be not enough Dne so 2. 1. 2016 21:53 uživatel Kunal Dabir notifications@github.com

I was checking out who is using this framework and almost all of them are broken links.
