It's a platform-specific dependency. Windows does not have a FSEvents API.

Check out #163 if you're interested in a debate about a different way this could be handled that bypasses the optionalDependencies paradigm.

That doesn't change the root issue. People pull this dep in because they use macOS and the Windows users of the world suffer as a result. I linked to two example issues. One was submitted by our favorite Redux developer.
