I want to open the discussion on FreeGS IMAS reader.

I open this discussion by creating of #94 pull request.

Please let me know what you think about using OMAS for this purpose and my decision to match IDS vs FreeGS coil types.

I also have a couple of questions:

  • What is the difference between MultiCoil and FilamentCoil?
  • How works the turns parameter with the FilamentCoil should it be 1 or len(filaments)?

Hi @kripnerl , do you think that it would also be a good idea to include an option to write out to IDS as well? Probably a bit more straight-forward, but this would allow for freeGS to be used as an actor in an IMAS workflow.
