Hi,

I would like to know if this project is still active and if there is someone who is merging PRs?

I contributed to the freeCodeCamp repo and the freeCodeCamp docs repo in the past and I noticed this project stalled and I want to know if it's the project is being archived or if there are plans to kick-start it back up.

I have experience with React and Redux in the frontend as well as Node in the backend.

Hi everyone,

I lead the dev team here at freeCodeCamp.org.

Thanks a lot for your patience with this project.

We are a very small dev team at @freeCodeCamp. The core platform takes a lot of our time, and hence this project which is used by hundreds (including Quincy's weekly email blast) hasn't gotten the love it more than deserves in quite a while.

We are sorry about that, but I must add that it changes today :)

I am pleased to introduce you to @Asjas (A-J) who will be helping us in getting this project come back to life. 🎉

A-J, will be overseeing the next version of mail-for-good (plans for which will be shared separately).

We believe that a re-write of the platform is due and hence we would not be able to accommodate requests (other than critical security updates) to the current version.

However, this means that we would consider feature requests in the next version of the platform. This is just to keep ourselves focused and moving forward.

We welcome you to join the conversation and contribute with pull requests, once we have the plans and goals ready. We will make an announcement with all the details.

Once again thanks for your patience and happy contributing.
