I agree the documentation is confusing for someone just starting. Foundation is no longer under zurb and is maintained by volunteers. The site for documentation is https://get.foundation/sites/docs/. Updating the documentation is a slow process so some of the documentation is out-of-date. Most of the documentation of the various foundation components is pretty good, but much of the installation documentation is out of date. To use foundation you will need node,js, but you have to have the correct version. Over the years I have had to change node versions many times. So the first thing I would do is install nvm for windows. nvm is a node version manager that allows you to easily install and use different node versions. The website https://github.com/coreybutler/nvm-windows describes the installation and use of nvm. Now I would go to the foundation-sites documentation and select Install Foundation for Sites. Skip the video and go down the page to Basics Template Installation and Experienced Template Installation. You will probably want to start with the basic template. For this you will need node version 12 or greater. Install node using nvm and set the version to be used. You will now need to install a couple more items using npm that comes with node. I still don't understand how to install Foundation Sites. And the Foundation help docs are not very useful.
I mean, could I get some clear step-by-step documentation?
