In-canvas to Off-canvas (v. 6.7.3)

Do I need to add a line of SASS code to enable? If so, where? Would HTML structure still be:

Instead of in-canvas, I just used the reveal-for-medium shown by Rafi in the documentation video. I'm not sure what the advantage of in-canvas is versus this method, but bottomline is I got what I needed working. Have a good day.
