So if this is just for yourself, then you can modify the git hooks and remove husky. However, if you plan on submitting a pull request or ever rebasing with updates, then I urge you to use the commit lints. here is a guide... https://github.com/conventional-changelog/commitlint |

Hi,
I am currently customizing Foundation for a specific project (and not trying to contribute code to the project).
I have forked a copy of the current repo (6.7.1) on github and then cloned that to my local machine.
I removed the remotes that were the 'upstream' Foundation repos and removed the
commitlint.yml
file.I did all this trying to get the repo to allow me to commit changes to my local repo.
None of that worked, every time I try to
git commit
commitlint throws an error and kills the commit.I have tried half a dozen times (the most recent with
--no-verify
) and every time I get thefailed to commit
messages. How do I disable commitlint so that I can commit changes to git?
