I am actively maintaining the software now. I actually took it over last year. However, 2020 was 2020 and things got hectic. However, I am happy that I was able to do a lot of spring cleaning recently. I brought the issue count down merged in a lot of PRs. Lots of long standing issues have been fixed. I am definitely open to fixing any issues that are found and merging in any PRs that developers are willing to help with. However, I don't plan on spending too much time going forward on adding a ton of features to F6. The reason that I have been planning Foundation 7. This version will definitely bring Foundation leaps and bounds ahead of many things out there. I have detailed some of those ideas a few times in various place. I will try to create a new post in the discussions here with details. As for Zurb, they are no longer in the picture. While some resources are still hosted on their servers, it should be minimal. They are no longer funding or dedicating any resources towards this project. Determining if this project is a trustworthy fit is probably based on two things...
I hope that you take the ride with me. I am very passionate about Foundation and making amazing, easy to use software for web designers and developers. If we are able to make Foundation 7 into what I am envisioning, it will knock the socks off the web community. |

Hello!
For the past decade we have used Foundation across all of our projects, but have begun evaluating competing frameworks due this project's inactivity.
I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for us:
Essentially, is this project still a good long-term fit for organizations to trust and use?
Thanks!
Tommy
