We should have this tool for image optimisation https://github.com/psliwa/image-optimizer

This library is able to optimize png, jpg and gif files in very easy and handy way. It uses optipng, pngquant, pngcrush, pngout, gifsicle, jpegoptim and jpegtran tools.
