Has piggy bank / Has no piggy bank trigger for rules

Description

I would like to trigger rules based on a transaction having (or not having) a piggy bank attached. This would allow me to set up rules so that certain transactions will change the balance in a piggy bank, but not change it twice if that transaction already had the piggy bank selected.

Solution

Add "Has a (any) piggy bank" and "Has no piggy bank" fields to the trigger list.

What are alternatives?

Currently I just double check that when the rule is triggered I haven't double deducted from a piggy bank (see additional context).

Additional context

I'm using a piggy bank to make sure all my "budgeted" money is accounted for. I would like to set up a rule that automatically deducts a transactions amount from my "budgeted" piggy bank, with or without the piggy bank field.

The rule I'm hoping to set up is "Has a (any) budget" AND "Has no piggy bank" -> "Add / Remove Transaction amount in piggy bank".

I'll see what I can do. Transactions don't actually "have" a piggy bank, so it will be hard to select for them.

What you see in the piggy banks history is data from another database table.
