Quick Google / Stackoverflow check : https://stackoverflow.com/questions/24233834/getting-cover-image-from-a-mobi-file

So mobi is a binary format, not archive with some metadata file like epub

Issue title may be extended to more "Kindle" formats like AZW, AZW3, KFX or other formats like prc or fb2
