Are calendar invitations no longer being sent/created? I had no idea there was a meeting today . Sorry.

Sorry about that @iMichaela! Everything should be up to date on the FINOS Community Calendar... but there has been some inconsistency with the timing. @robmoffat and @crawfordchanel will be helping set a consistent time for future calls, and we'll be using the mailing list to send out updates regarding any changes.

New SteerCo has been confirmed. Members are:

Ardain Hammond (Redhat), Seat
Eddie knight (sonatype) Seat Community
Simon Zhang (BMO), Seat FSI
Paul Stevenson (Morgan Stanley), Seat FSI
Jon Meadows (Citi), Seat FSI
Robert Griffths (Scott Logic), Seat Community
Oli Bage (LSEG) , Seat FSI

Meeting Frequency
Repurpose existing meetings. Can use half of the meeting to talk about SteerCo items and the other half of what the meeting was originally intended to cover. For example, during the OSCAL scheduled meeting, can split conversations into half of the SteerCo and the other half on Oscal.

Relaunch of Working Groups with Revised Leadership
To ask for volunteers to work on the structure of the various group, starting with this forum and then can open to the wider group

Each working group will need its own Charter:
Defining responsibilities/Outputs of the working group, mission, and that an overall lead will be appointed and what the lead is responsible for. The Charters are to conform to a similar format, structure and common language.
The SteerCo to empower the Working Group to make decisions.

EK: Brainstormed on working groups that we can start with:
Community Structure: How should we restructure.
Define roles and members

Duplication Reduction: Find tools and partners that can reduce required effort

i. Jared Lambert to lead on drafting Charter. To reach out to Oli Bage, who can also help

Design: create the formatting requirement for each upcoming release (What should the Repo look like)
Taxonomy: Maintain list of service and feature

i. Robert Griffiths to take the lead and Sonali can help on drafting a Charter

Security: Maintain threats and mitigations for each service feature
Delivery – maintain a version controlled process for releasing content
Roadmap – maintain a process for communicating expectations to the public
