Jakarta JSON Processing 2.1

Questions

• any benefit except minor API improvements? e.g. faster parser?
• when to switch?
  • a new implementation of the API using Parsson is required

Jakarta.json 2.1.0 and Parsson 1.1.0 works with Titanium 1.3.0 out of the box.

One consideration is that jakarta.json 2.1.0 aligns with JakartaEE 10. The JakartaEE 10 platform APIs were released very recently (late March 2022). If there is a hard dependency on JakartaEE 10, this may make the upgrade path for consumers of Titanium a bit challenging.

If it is possible to keep a JakartaEE 9 baseline requirement in Titanium while allowing (rather than requiring) its use in JakartaEE 10 environments, I think that would be ideal.

Titanium version 2.x line should use Java 17 + JakartaEE 10 JSON as default and there will be a separate JRE11 (+ Jakarta 9 JSON) build alongside with JRE8 (see issue #166) i.e. titanium-json-ld-jre11@2.x, titanium-json-ld-jre8@2.x
