Hello, I am not trying to steal any of your fame, I promise. In fact, I was inspired by your program, one that I have been using for a few weeks now and I really appreciate your knowledge in Electron, something I even lack (I specialize in Python).

I have done something similar, except based on PCem, and yes, you can game on it, it does have internet and even features SoundBlaster AEW32 support, floppy + disc without needing to restart and recursive file system, everything is contained within the EXE meaning it can be stored even on a flash drive, or if you fancy, ran from the cloud.

Now people can fully enjoy this operating system as it was meant too, as PCem is cycle acurracte down to the clock speeds, meaning games like Daggerfall with run properly without animation issues.

I share with you as I think you might be interested, seeing as you already have a project I got the idea from. I hope you try it and let me know what you think!

Is there going to be a version that runs on M series Macs?

No because the link above is a PC-only solution.
