Problem

This issue is currently blocked by bringing nodes to front via a z-index: almende/vis#3146 (comment)

Thumbs up for this feature request - having either way to draw n the canvas to show groups of nodes or adding a z index to display 3-D depth would be a fantastic and powerful addition. I hope it is achievable. Thanks for the great work Felix
