aquarium on telehack.com never works in NetworkTerminal, but always works using other Telnet-clients

The program aquarium on telnet telehack.com never works in NetworkTerminal, but always works using other Telnet-clients at the same time. At first I thought this had to do with load on the server, but I can always start aquarium with other computers Telnet clients at the same time, even in Windows XP SP3 with its original Telnet client. Now aquarium, in NetworkTerminal, only shows a few lines of text, but never starts the actual aquarium.

Note: I use my modified version of NetworkTerminal that reports the right number of rows to the telnet server (i.e. 34), but I think this does not matter since aquarium handles terminals with different rows and columns.
