Talk Title: Introduction to Quantum Computing

Talk Description: The basics of Quantum Computing will be discussed:-

  1. History
  2. Quantum Superposition and Quantum Entanglement
  3. Qubits
  4. Quantum Logic Gates
  5. Quantum Circuits
  6. Quantum Programs. Will be coded in IBM's Qiskit. Even the attendees can code.
  • Creating Quantum Entanglement
  • Generating 16 bit random number
  1. Open source and career opportunities in Quantum Computing.

Talk Duration: 40 - 50 minutes

Type of Talk: (Session/Hands-on/Workshop) Session

Prerequisites for talk: (if any)

  1. Linear Algebra
  2. Python(Not required, but knowing it will be an advantage)

I am a budding engineer, a sport programmer(Codeforces-Expert, Codechef 4 Stars) and a web developer who has spent his last couple of years honing the skills of data structures, algorithms and frontend technologies. I am a Quantum Computing enthusiast hand have spent last couple of months studying about Quantum Computing. I have been recently accepted into The Coding School's IBM-MIT Introduction to Quantum Computing Course which is a semester long course taught by experts from MIT and Oxford University, sponsored by IBM.
