Allow quitting custom review early and still go over forgotten cards #297

I often use custom review to randomly review all cards. Since there are so many I don't expect to finish all of them, just to see as many as possible. However when I do want to quit, I would like to go over the ones I missed, but that is only possible if you complete everything

It would be very nice if besides the end button, there was some option to just re-do the failed ones before quitting.

+1 for me. Sometimes I can't get to all my daily reviews in one shot. There are two choices at this point regarding cards you had hit "again" on:

  1. End the review prematurely, the ones you wanted to do again actually don't get reviewed again. they simply get demoted all the way down to unlearned stack. This feels very deflating when you have cards up in the 6-7+ stack that took months to get there.
  2. Try very carefully to keep the app/site in memory on my phone so the session isn't lost until I can get to it again. If the site reloads no choice but to restart the day's reviews. That could be up 30 min of reviews down the toilet on some days for me.

This is obviously less of an issue if you're reviewing on an actual PC, which I personally try to do as much as possible.

I don't if you ever considered this, but a bigger feature that could address this is having review sessions persisted and managed on the server side.
