Evennia in Hacktoberfest 2023!

Like many years before, Evennia takes part in Hacktoberfest this year as well! October is now approaching fast!

During Hacktoberfest, if you contribute PRs to Evennia (and other OSS projects) and do at least four PRs, you'll win prizes (see page). Many in the community take this opportunity to get engaged and help out, and we've gotten a lot of Evennia help in the past years!

You can't get registered until October starts (I think), but keep an eye on the registration page.

How it works:

• During the month of October, check out Evennia issues for things you want to help out with - I have labeled some hacktoberfest, but you are not limited to that.
• If you don't know what to work on, we are always happy to see more added unit tests, or maybe you could help improve or add a new Evennia translation.
• Fix and make a PR.
• Also documentation fixes count! You don't need to be able to build the docs locally to contribute to them. Just please don't try to 'game' the system by dividing up small changes into many PRs just to increase the PR-count - those will not be counted.
• PRs that are either merged or which I add a special label to will count towards your PR total at the end of the month!
