It would be great if we had the ability to notify users:

  • of general event independently from releases (like updated package repo, special offers if we ever have them)
  • hints for the new release, new features, changes in functionality

Hints should only be shown once and maybe be later available on request.

Im UI. Auf emails haben wir keinen Zugriff.

(oder hab ich den mechanism falsch verstanden)

I guess the same way UI knows that there is an update available for example?
