I want to use auto. When I first installed/used espanso, auto worked fine. Then it got worse. It’s a bit of a shame that auto just seems broken. I’ll try your suggestion and report back. |
Description
When I first installed espanso, it worked perfectly.
Then I restarted espanso, and then it only replaced properly every other time - every other other time, it would replace with a single " " character.
Then I restarted a few more times, and it took 5 or 6 tries to get a proper replacement.
And, I restarted it a few more times, and now I can't get it to work at all (it might still work, but I can't be bothered to type it out enough times to get it to show).
This is with
backend: Auto
. If I usebackend: Clipboard
, it works consistently.ps aux | grep espanso
shows 3 processesSteps to reproduce
No response
Expected behavior
Using
backend: Auto
, it should insert the replacement regardless of the number of service restartsScreenshots
