Hello,

I've been testing your plugin out and find it very useful for what I'm doing but I have a need to sort project by their timeline not simply list them in alphabetical order.
My intention is to add a few custom fields to Project and Versions to allow sorting by Project Start or End date.

How do I go about submitting a formal feature request or perhaps having you (hiring you) to modify your plugin for my purposes?

Thank you in advance.

Hello @Saylrman64,

Glad to know that plugin is useful! Thank you.

According to your feature request, it sounds useful and looks like it is it possible. But the truth is that we don't use this plugin in our company now and put the development of this plugin on pause. So, we can't guarantee any timeline when any new feature will be added.

We would gladly to customize it for you or even develop new plugin for your needs with help of my teammates from @ergoserv on some kind of a commercial basis. Please, drop me a line at hello@ergoserv.com for further discussion.

Thank you.

Hello sir,

I emailed the address hello@ergoserv.com and got a failure notice. See below.
I've verified my email server using MXToolBox. com and I'm not in any spam lists or blacklists.
How to proceed?

Original Message:

Hello,

I was directed by stgeneral on GitHub to eamil you folks about some possible changes to the redmine-progressive-projects-list plugin.

I would like to add a feature and I'm coming to you first for the changes as you folks wrote the plugin.

I understand there would be an associated cost and I am willing to look into this to improve the plugin. I would even allow it to become part of hte master if you feel the feature is of use.

What I'd like is to do is add the option to sort projects and versions according to their Desired Start Date, or their Desired Completion dates, not just the default Alphabetical listing.
I want this feature as it makes more sense for the business strategy and initiative planning process.

The option would require certain custom fields to work.
The required custom fields are as follows:

Projects
Desired Begin Date
Desired Completion Date

Versions
Desired Begin Date

The selection of the sort by default Alphabetical or by the other custom field options would ideally be in the sidebar along with either the core section for "Projects" or in this plugins section "Preferences".

Can you please tell me if this is something you are willing to do and possibly what the time or money cost would be?

Thank you

Manuel, that's strange that your email was bounced. In this case, contact me please via linkedin (https://www.linkedin.com/in/dmitrybabenko/) or skype (ergoserv).

Meanwhile, we'll take a look at your feature request. For the first view it looks like something we'll be able to do.

Thank you.
