Ubuntu 14.04.5 isn't really supported anymore by Canonical, I think you should first consider upgrading the client to a more recent version like Ubuntu 20.04 (and epoptes 20.01)... That said, when I asked "run /usr/sbin/epoptes-client from a terminal on a client", I mean as the user, not as root. There are two epoptes-client processes running, one for root and one for the user, and it's the user one that handles poweroff when a user is connected; it's there where we'll see the error messages. Or, try running this as the user: |

Hi, I have such a problem that when I turn off the client's computer or want to restart it, nothing happens. Oddly enough, turning computers on remotely works. Does anyone know the reason?
