[20231204 151132] Conversion #4 - 20 tracks.log
Describe the bug
A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Run Freac 1.1.6 in FLAC mode, full cdparanoia enabled, accurate rip enabled
  2. Have to kill the process and resume from where it left off
  3. See error

Expected behavior
Running Freac on Linux, it freezes while encoding FLAC files. It will usually encode a number of files (variable) and then freezes and pop up asks to wait or force shutdown. I open Freac again after shutting down and then resume where I left off. Notice in Activity monitor one or two cores are running at 100%

I, too, have the same issue - same 100% activity on cores 3 and 4 - they swap every song, and sometime in the middle of a song.

  • Ubuntu 23.10
  • Intel Core i5
  • 8 GB ram (only ~20% shows in use)

Not a bug. As recommended by another user I disabled parallel processing under Resources in General settings.Seems to have resolved issue

How is a total freeze not a bug?

I have also been experiencing this issue. I disabled parallel processing as suggested and will update if that resolves the issue.
