What happened?

When using the -server.addr flag to set a custom port, empirica does not output a startup message.

I assume this is in development mode, right? Just empirica, not empirica serve. It seems that changing the port is actually not working as expected in dev mode. I will need to look into this.

ah sorry, yes, dev mode. (i may have experienced additional problems which you already noted, but i didn't try to replicate them because it turned out i was also having internet connectivity issues.)
