Login into the ALMA Archive with credentials to download data

Would it be possible to add to ALminer the option to use authentication to login into the ALMA Archive in the download data step?

Hi Carmen,

Thanks for the feature request. I had a quick attempt and realised that currently astroquery is also not able to access the authentication pages as a result of the cyberattacks (see this ticket: astropy/astroquery#2630)

I think the best course of action is to wait for astroquery (or ALMA) to implement a fix. I hope that your request is not urgent.

Hi Aida, Sorry, I forgot to mention in my message that astroquery login itself was not working for me. I wanted to warn you this morning, but clearly you are faster :) This is not a urgent request for ALminer, it was just a suggestion for future improvement. Thanks again! Carmen
