Motivation:
We would like to create an Automated Serverless QA environment to ensure catch errors or trigger any alerts before reaching the Serverless Production environment.

Definition of Done

  • Update TF Script to allow create serverless projects in the QA environment
  • Create a serverless project in the QA Environment with integration data using the Create environment tool (note: as the serverless doc suggests, the environment needs to be prefixed with keep_ otherwise will be deleted after 3 days)
  • Export the rules from the Serverless project in the Production environment and import them into the project created in the QA environment
  • Enable the rules
  • Invite everyone to the QA Organization (invite with the @elastic.co email, to enable access to the Serverless projects)

the issue estimation ended up higher than we thought, postponing the ticket for a later sprint to move forward with higher priority tickets
