We are currently using an older version of Ionic in our project and it's essential to upgrade to version 8 to leverage the latest features, enhancements, and security patches.

Expected:
After upgrading to Ionic version 8, the project should maintain its current functionality while benefiting from the latest enhancements and fixes provided by the framework.
