Manual export of a product is not startable just so

Manual export of a product (plugin based) with Eclipse Version: 2023-12 (4.30.0)
Build id: 20231201-2043 produces a directory.

There, to make the generated executable actually executable one has to unpack the org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.gtk.linux.x86_64_1.2.700.v20221108-1024.jar into a folder and delete this jar.
Similar applies to Windows build.

After have done so, the program starts.

Some versions seem have done it correctly (if correct it is).

I've got that hack (the unpacking) from some years old board message and wonder if I do something wrong here.
