The C++ makefiles and binary are just dumped into the cpp/src folder at the moment this must be improved.
@sdirix could you come up with a suggestion?

I would place them in a build directory next to the src directory, similar to Eclipse CDT managed build

Double check whether c++ integration can be improved with the knowledge from CDT.CLoud
