check_model error suggestions are not complete #713

Thanks for the quick response. (BTW, I tested it on second machine, with same issue) With your setting I get the error: When I search this repo on this error I see: #691 and I move back to performance@0.10.8 and ggplot2@3.4.4 I get a blank plot and: When I also move see back tot It seems that I have to upgrade / downgrade somewhere in the whole dependency stream Windows 11, R Studio 2023.12.1 Build 402 session_info()

Yes! After writing the above I check the dependency stream myself and found patchwork. After updating everything to the latest version it worked. The dependency on patchwork is given at 'suggested' in see, but it doesn't suggest upgrading to the given version when installing via renv or when stuff doesn't work. Thanks for the debugging tip! And of course for all the open source work. Checking versions etc made me read the changelog so I saw all the continuous improvements you guys are making. Great stuff, thanks! |

I get the following error when running check_model, even mtcars etc.
Also via model_dasbhoard function I get the same error. I tried external plot windows etc, but none of it works.
I tried the four suggestions, but that didn't solve it. I tried searching the error, but couldn't find the code that originates it or solutions

Are there any pointers where to look for the origin of this very strange error, since I'm clearly one of the few people having it it must be something local, but I'm a bit at loss..
