I recently installed Edubuntu 23.10 and setup e2guardian without a proxy for use by my kids. It seems to work fine for the most part, i.e., it does block some websites, but some websites are not loading although they are not blocked (i.e. I see a blank webpage). For example, I can login to Microsoft Teams account, but I see a blank page. Documents in the related Office account also don't load. I have included office.com and teams.microsoft.com in my exceptionsitelist file.

Try checking the log here:

tail -f /usr/local/var/log/e2guardian/access.log

If you search for DENIED you will find the domains which were blocked. Specifically you have
1709031648.033 - 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 [https://compass-ssl.microsoft.com:443](https://compass-ssl.microsoft.com/) CONNECT 403 0 - - - 27 - 154 *DENIED* Failed to negotiate ssl connection to client 0 SSL SITE no_name_group 1

It says Failed to negotiate ssl connection to client.
