can somebody explain to me why this solution was made? And if this is temporary or not?
Maybe I am missing some reason for this? Am I don't seeing the big picture behind it? :)
For now, it looks just saving time with coding.
What are my reasons for disliking it?
missing event to catch that user profile was edited in admin area
ignore checks/settings for editing profile's fields like display name. You set it off as main admin, it can't be different, but admin user can it change now without any warning
