integration with aws-sdk-client-mock to support unit test

I've searched existing issues for a mocking method, and the conclusion is that I still have to run a local stack instance, but that's not ideal. I found a handy AWS mocking tool called aws-sdk-client-mock, but when I try to work with these two, for instance

import { mockClient } from "aws-sdk-client-mock";
import dynamoose from "dynamoose";

const ddb = new dynamoose.aws.ddb.DynamoDB({});
const ddbMock = mockClient(ddb);
ddbMock
	.on(QueryCommand, {
		TableName: "booking-users-dev",
	})
	.resolves({
		Items: [{ pk: "a", sk: "b" }],
	});

dynamoose.aws.ddb.set(ddb);

I got following error
