The browser should force the safe search settings from screen time content blocking, like done in safari.
If the device is set up to block inappropriate content via screen time/Content & privacy Restrictions/ content restrictions, DuckDuckgo should automatically apply the moderate or strict option for safe search. This feature is a thing in safari already and I'm sure parents would love this feature in DuckDuckgo.
