Patient Search

Search is limited to names. If handling a huge list of patients, many may have the same names, and it may be unclear which patient you are searching.

Example: search "John Smith" and there are a list of 200 John Smiths. The user has to look through all John Smith's in order to find the correct one.

Should be able to search by name, date of birth, and/or last visit. Preferably "last visit" can include a general time period: specific day or month.

Search options should list: name, date of birth, patient ID, last visit, address, personal physician -- in order to narrow selection list.

yes, we had this before. was removed for pluggability but has not been reimplemented.
will require some work, but should be implemented soon.
